GAMING PHONE

What is the gaming phone

A gaming phone is an optimized and designed smartphone for mobile gaming. Gaming phones typically have high-end hardware, enhanced cooling technology, and software features that enhance the gaming experience. They’re meant to play power-demanding games like Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG, and others at high frame rates and graphics quality.

Gaming Phone and Regular Phone Different

1 Performance and Hardware

Gaming Phones:

These are designed with utmost performance in mind, offering the latest and most powerful processors (such as Snapdragon 8 series, MediaTek Dimensity, etc.), high-performance GPUs, advanced cooling systems, and of course, keeping them cool during long gaming sessions- that is, vapor chambers and internal fans. They normally come with higher RAM at 12GB, 16GB, or 18GB and a bigger, high-capacity battery at 4,500mAh to 6,000mAh or more

Regular phones:

While most flagship devices also come with premium processors, they are often optimized for everyday use like web browsing, social networking, photography, and light gaming. They are not so focused on sustaining the performance for hours of intense gaming. Battery life and cooling could also be more budget-friendly compared to gaming devices.

2 display

Gaming phones:

Gaming phones typically have high refresh rate displays (120Hz, 144Hz, or 165Hz) for a smoother experience for gaming. The response time (touch response latency) is significantly lower as well to increase accuracy.

Regular phones:

While some high-end smartphones also feature high refresh rate displays (90Hz, 120Hz), the overall focus is not primarily on gaming. They’re more about general usability, photography, and media consumption
